IN A GALAXY FAR, FAR AWAY — Obi-Wan is the loneliest number that you’ll ever do. Artoo can be as bad as one, it's the loneliest droid here since the he lost Obi-Wan.

The droid R2-D2 might seem mechanical and emotionless in his roles during the Star Wars saga, but in reality he has lived a sad and solitary life cut off from his best friend C3PO. Life is hard living in a world where no one knows exactly what you mean.

Just like the rest of us, though, Artoo has searched galaxies far and wide for love, and he never quit his search because he has a good motivator unit. Now he believes he has finally found love in an equally round-headed metal unit.

Artoo pitches all sorts of woo while trying to get a return of the affections, but this blue round mailbox eludes Artoo's love, much like the rebels elude Darth Vader.

Fortunately for the R2 unit they call D2, there is always a bigger fish (sorry Star Wars fans) and he finds his love in the greatest socially constructed way: Another R2 unit, this one with pink accents.

Now if we can only do something for C3PO, he’s been through a lot, I worry about him.
