LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The University of Arkansas for Medical Science's College of Medicine has been reaccredited for a full eight years by a national committee that oversees medical education.
UAMS announced Tuesday that the Liaison Committee on Medical Education granted the reaccreditation after a recent four-day review . The committee is a partnership between the American Medical Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges.
The UAMS College of Medicine last received LCME reaccreditation in 2007.
