PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. (AP) — Prosecutors say three South Florida teens accused of creating an Instagram account to solicit and post explicit photos of other minors will participate in therapy and community service rather than face criminal charges.

The Broward State Attorney's Office reported Wednesday that the 13-year-olds — two boys and one girl — will undergo a juvenile diversion program that usually takes three to six months to complete.

Pembroke Pines police arrested the teens last month after a 10-week investigation. Police say the social media account encouraged its 500 followers to post nude and sexually explicit photos of minors to "expose" them.

Maria Schneider — head of the juvenile unit in the Broward State Attorney's Office — told the South Florida Sun Sentinel (http://goo.gl/Jzz45Z) that no potential victims have come forward or want to be involved in prosecution.

Pembroke Pines is a suburb of Fort Lauderdale.
