SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah police say officers have arrested two men believed to be connected to the death of an 18-year-old woman whose body was stuffed into a suitcase and dumped in western Colorado.

West Valley City police said Tuesday that Kelly Mae Myers of Grand Junction, Colorado, was last seen traveling to the Salt Lake City suburb for a party with 47-year-old Raymond Cordova.

Police say 30-year-old Eduardo Nasario De La Cruz rented the hotel room where Myers died and Cordova later tossed the suitcase with her body inside.

Both men were arrested on unrelated drug charges and booked into the Mesa County Jail. An autopsy will determine how Myers died.

De La Cruz's attorney declined to comment. Cordova's attorney could not be reached, and there was no answer at a number publicly listed for him.
