SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — About 300 friends, family members and students huddled outside a library in a solemn vigil for a missing 22-year-old San Bernardino woman.
Sahray Barber was reported missing Monday, after her cellphone and laptop were found in her apartment complex bushes.
Friends and family prayed and burned candles at the Friday vigil.
Her father, Stephen Barber, tells the Riverside Press-Enterprise (http://bit.ly/1CgFBLx) that he refuses to give up hope.
Detectives are following several leads.
They had previously been combing the hills north of San Bernardino for Barber, who was last seen by roommates as she left for the Art Institute of California.
Barber lives near California State University, San Bernardino, which has been on alert since two female students were attacked in separate incidents this month.
