KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 win over Alexandra Dulgheru in the final of the Malaysian Open on Sunday.

It was the year's first title for former No. 1-ranked player, who took one hour, 50 minutes to dispose of her Romanian opponent.

Fifth-ranked Wozniacki conceded a service break in the third game to lose the first set, which was interrupted by rain, but took control of the next two sets as she did not concede a single break point.

Wozniacki has now won all three of her matches against Dulgheru, having also beaten her in the round of 16 at the Qatar Open last month.
