Davidson clinches first in A-10, crushes Duquesne 107-78

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Tyler Kalinoski scored a career-high 32 points and Davidson clinched first place in the Atlantic 10 crushing Duquesne 107-78 on Saturday.

Kalinoski, a senior, was 12 of 14 from the floor and 8 of 10 on 3-pointers. Jordan Barham had 20 points, Jack Gibbs had 19 and Brian Sullivan added 11.

Duquesne was in it early — tied at 30 with 8:15 left in the first half. Davidson (23-6, 14-4) then took over, scoring the next 13 points — including back-to-back 3-pointers by Jordan Watkins and Sullivan. The Wildcats then closed the half with a 12-point run with consecutive 3s by Sullivan, Watkins and Kalinoski to lead 55-33 at the break.

The lead reached 30 early in the second half on a dunk by Peyton Aldridge. Gibbs' 3-pointer made it 100-67 with 3:48 left.

Duquesne (11-18, 6-12) was led by Micah Mason with 17 points and finished 11th in the conference.
