SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) — More than a dozen students and adults have been hurt after a truck rear-ended a stopped Central Texas school bus.
The San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District on Tuesday said 10 students, the bus driver and a monitor on board suffered minor injuries. All were treated and released Monday night from a hospital.
Details weren't immediately available Tuesday on the condition of the trucker, who was hospitalized with serious injuries after the wreck in San Marcos.
District officials say the bus carried 11 students from Travis Elementary School. One student on board escaped injury.
