NYON, Switzerland (AP) — UEFA has charged Dynamo Kiev over crowd disorder which briefly stopped a Europa League match against Guingamp.
UEFA says Dynamo faces sanctions for crowd disturbances, supporters coming on the field and throwing fireworks during a 3-1 win at the Olympic Stadium on Thursday.
UEFA's disciplinary panel will judge the case on March 4, before Dynamo plays Everton in the last 16.
Dynamo fans reportedly reacted to fans in the Guingamp section of the stadium holding up a French tricolor as a Russian flag with a slogan referring to the disputed Crimea region.
UEFA did not announce charges against Guingamp.
In a separate case, UEFA charged Bayer Leverkusen for fans showing an "illicit banner" during a 1-0 win against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.
