BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — The soccer players' union in Serbia says a professional player was threatened by a fan with a gun.

The unidentified fan pointed the gun at Zarko Udovicic on Monday at Novi Pazar's training ground, two days after he missed a late penalty in a 1-0 loss in the Serbian league.

Union president Mirko Poledica says "must we wait until some hooligan actually kills one of our players?"

Poledica says the Serbian soccer federation and league did not react to the incident.

Udovicic told local media it was like "a scene from a movie" when several fans entered the locker room. The player was asked if he missed the penalty to fix the match against Rad Belgrade.

Udovicic says he doesn't plan to go back to Novi Pazar, a city close to the border with Kosovo.
