ATLANTIC, Va. (AP) — Three suborbital rockets have been launched for the Department of Defense from NASA's facility on Wallops Island in Virginia.
NASA says the Terrier-Oriole suborbital rockets were launched around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. The space agency didn't provide details about the rockets.
The next scheduled launch from the Wallops Flight Facility is set for March 27. A NASA Terrier-Improved suborbital sounding rocket will carry experiments developed by university students.
