TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — Two of the three finalists vying to become the next president at the University of Toledo will be on campus for interviews this coming week.
Michele Wheatly, senior adviser to the president of West Virginia University, was on campus this past week for a series of interviews and public forums.
Both Sharon Gaber, provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Arkansas, and Christopher Howard, president of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, will be visiting the Toledo campus this coming week.
Former Toledo president Lloyd Jacobs stepped down last June after eight years as president. He left to work with a global economic development organization based in Washington.
