POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Pocatello police say a 23-year-old man caused a three-car crash and then fled the scene, leaving behind a woman and a baby girl in the car. The Idaho State Journal reports Derrick Jim is to be arraigned tomorrow on charges of driving under the influence and injury to a child while driving under the influence. Jim, the woman and baby were treated at a hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening.

CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — An old clerical error is putting one Idaho school district's free breakfast program at risk. The Press-Tribune reports that a Vallivue School District employee made a mistake on a 2003 application to join a federal program that provide free breakfasts for all students, not just those meeting certain income requirements. The problem was not discovered until January.

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — Legislation has been introduced in Congress that would allow paddle-powered watercraft on additional rivers and streams in Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Wyoming Republican U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis says the "Yellowstone and Grand Teton Paddling Act" would erase a federal ban that was enacted in the 1950s.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a Twin Falls motel. Twin Falls Police Sgt. Brent Wright tells the Times-News that William McGrath was arrested Friday. He is being held on investigation of first-degree murder. Prosecutors say Charles Johnston was killed in bathtub at the Apollo Motor Inn. Thirty-year-old Crystal Turner turned herself in to police after Thursday's shooting
