NORWOOD, Mass. (AP) — Super Bowl hero Malcolm Butler is now the owner of the new truck awarded to teammate Tom Brady, who got it for being named MVP of the win over Seattle. Brady gave the truck to the undrafted rookie cornerback whose interception at the goal line in the final seconds of the game preserved the win for New England.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have placed left wingers Ryan Carter and Jason Zucker on injured reserve after both were injured in last night's victory over Vancouver. Neither player is expected back anytime soon.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Tom Benson says he wants to undergo a court-ordered examination "as soon as possible" in his effort to prevent his daughter and her children from having him declared incompetent. Renee Benson and her children, Rita and Ryan LeBlanc, filed the suit after they were fired from leadership roles in the sports franchises.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) — Kyle Shanahan, the Atlanta Falcons' new offensive coordinator, says he can't wait to work with quarterback Matt Ryan. Shanahan says the job of putting in a new offense should be a lot easier since he's got a franchise quarterback to build around.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama running back Tyren Jones has been suspended indefinitely for what Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban called "conduct not to the standard of the Alabama football program." Jones was fourth on the team in rushing as a redshirt freshman last season with 224 yards and two touchdowns.
