PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia's regional transit agency says service has resumed on the busy Norristown High Speed Line after a suspension due to equipment blocking the tracks.
A SEPTA spokeswoman says service began running again around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
It had been suspended for several hours after an incident Monday night left one of the trains stranded, preventing other trains from passing through.
The High Speed Line, a cross between a light rail and commuter rail, runs 13 miles between Upper Darby and Norristown.
