NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) — Ty Charles had a career-high 19 points and Jacob Parker made 14 in the second half to lead Stephen F. Austin to a 93-82 victory over Northwestern State in Southland Conference action on Monday night.

Parker made 6 of 11 from the floor and totaled 16 points. Thomas Walkup also had 16 points with nine rebounds.

Stephen F. Austin (20-3, 10-0) leads the country with 32 straight conference wins over two seasons.

Northwestern State stayed close until the final minutes, trailing 42-41 at the half and 66-65 with 11:02 left in the game. Walkup and Charles made back-to-back layups for a 71-65 lead at the 9:56 mark. Walkup later made a three-point play as the Lumberjacks stretched the lead to 81-73 with 5:15 remaining.

Jalan West had 28 points and Zeek Woodley added 17 for Northwestern State (12-10, 7-4).
