NIAMEY, Niger (AP) — Niger's (nee-ZHEHRZ') army has repelled another attack from Boko Haram militants in a town on the country's border with Nigeria, where the extremists are based. It's the second time the West African nation has come under attack by Boko Haram since Friday. Officials could not immediately be reached to confirm residents' accounts or give casualty figures.

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — A government spokesman says Jordan has launched dozens of airstrikes on Islamic State group territory since a Jordanian Pilot was burned alive. Meanwhile, another coalition member, the United Arab Emirates, says it is sending a squadron of F-16 fighters to Jordan.

TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) — Tunisia's official news agency says the hunt for suspects continues but authorities have foiled an ambitious plot to attack civilian and military sites around the country. The TAP news agency reports the arrests of 32 extremists so far and that some of those arrested had traveled to hotspots abroad, including Syria.

MUNICH (AP) — Iran's foreign minister is pushing for the end of sanctions against his country over its nuclear program. Mohammed Javad Zarif met for about 90 minutes today with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. It's their second meeting on the sidelines of an international security conference. Zarif says now is the time to reach a deal with his country. He says progress has been made.

MONROEVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Three people remain hospitalized today as police near Pittsburg hunt for the man who shot them in a Macy's store at a shopping mall. Police say one of the wounded was the target while the other two were bystanders. Police are looking at the mall's surveillance video.
