PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Tavon Blackmon sank four free throws in the last 25 seconds and JR Hobbie scored a career-high 17 points as Brown held on to defeat Dartmouth 67-64 and win its first Ivy League game of the season Saturday night.

Blackmon and Hobbie, both sophomores, were clutch for Brown (10-13, 1-5). The pressure-packed foul shots in the final half-minute were Blackmon's only points of the half. Hobbie scored 11 of his 17 after halftime, including three of his five 3-pointers, often with a hand in his face.

Dartmouth (8-12, 1-5) closed to 63-62 when Connor Boehm drained a 3-pointer from the corner with 34 seconds left. After Blackmon hit two free throws, Boehm was called for traveling, giving Brown the ball at 17 seconds.

Blackmon was fouled and again hit both free throws, icing the game and handing Dartmouth its fourth-straight loss.

Freshman Miles Wright scored a career-high 21 for Dartmouth after hitting 20 against league-leading Yale Friday.
