FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) — Steve McClellan scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebound to help Cal State Fullerton snap a six-game losing streak with a 69-53 victory over Cal State Northridge on Thursday night.

McClellan made 6 of 10 field goals. Josh Gentry finished with 19 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field and a perfect 7 of 7 from the line. Moses Morgan added 11 points and Alex Harris chipped in 10 for Cal State Fullerton (9-13, 1-6 Big West).

The Titans led 35-31 at the break, jumped out to an 18-point lead midway through the second half, and cruised from there.

Stephan Hicks scored 16 points and Aaron Parks added 11 for Cal State Northridge (6-18, 2-7), which has lost five straight.

Stephen Maxwell, who averages 15.6 points per game, was held to just six points on 3-of-11 shooting for the Matadors.
