ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — A sixth teen has been arrested in a sexual assault at a suburban Denver party, where a girl said she agreed to have sex with one of the boys before he and five others attacked her.

The last suspect was taken into custody Tuesday night, while five other teens, ranging from ages 16 to 19, were arrested last week, said police in Englewood, a city south of Denver.

The investigation began Jan. 25 after the girl told police she had been sexually assaulted at a party earlier in the day attended by about a dozen people.

She told police she was drunk and agreed to have sex with one of the teens when he, Daylon Benjamin Hill, 19, and four others sexually assaulted her on a trampoline, according to Hill's arrest affidavit.

The attack continued inside a tent until the mother of one of the teens called for him to come into the house, the affidavit said. The girl collected her clothing and called a relative.

Neither police nor a spokeswoman for the district attorney's office would comment on whether the mother knew about the assault or whether the party where minors consumed marijuana and alcohol was at her home, citing the open investigation.

The girl and some of the suspects are students at Englewood High School, school spokeswoman Julie McGinley said. The others are students at other schools in the district.

The school district brought in outside counselors to talk with students and their families Monday and Tuesday and is offering in-house counseling and referrals to students, McGinley said Wednesday.

The district said in a statement last week that it was working to keep the girl safe while she was in school, but McGinley wouldn't elaborate or discuss whether she was still attending.

The arrest of the sixth teen came hours after Hill, the only adult suspect, appeared in court. Court records do not list an attorney for Hill, who remains in jail on $50,000 bond.

During the hearing, a prosecutor suggested the teens could all be charged as adults, The Denver Post reported (http://dpo.st/1F6cd9D ).
