ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — Jamee Crockett scored 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field to lead DePaul to a 75-62 victory over Seton Hall on Tuesday night.
With the score tied at 59 with 4:48 remaining, DePaul ripped off 16 of the game's final 19 points, with nine coming from Billy Garrett Jr. to seal the win.
Garrett had 20 points and Myke Henry added 11 with five boards for DePaul (12-12 6-5 Big East). The win was the Blue Demons' sixth Big East victory of the season, the first time they've reached that mark since the 2007-08 season.
The Blue Demons outshot Seton Hall 50.8 percent to 36. They are 11-1 this season when outshooting their opponents, compared to 1-11 when they don't.
Sterling Gibbs' 21 points led the Pirates (15-7, 5-5), his eighth 20-plus point game this season. Isaiah Whitehead added 14 points, eight from the line.
