CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Jalan West scored 28 points with seven assists, Zeek Woodley added 26 with six steals, and Northwestern State held off winless Central Arkansas 110-108 on Tuesday night to win their fourth straight.

Tra'von Joseph scored 15, Ta'Jon Welcome and Sabri Thompson had 10 apiece, and the Demons (12-9, 7-3 Southland) made 25 of 33 free throws.

The Demons led 52-47 at halftime, but Central Arkansas rallied in the second half, tying it at 59 on a 3 by Mike Martin, then pulling away 75-67. The Demons retook the lead 83-82 on a layup by Woodley and led 110-105 after two free throws by DeVonte Hall with 14 seconds left. Jordan Howard made three free throws, but the Bears got no closer.

Howard scored a career-high 27, Martin a career-best 23 with 10 rebounds for the Bears (0-19, 0-8). Both players hit five 3-pointers, also career bests.
