YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) — Corey Petros scored 21 points and Oakland handled Youngtown State 96-80 on Sunday.

Petros was 7 of 9 from the floor and 7 of 8 from the line, grabbed seven rebounds and had six assists. Dante Williams and Kahlil Felder both added 19 for Oakland (11-12, 6-2 Horizon) and Nick Daniels added 15 off the bench.

The teams came out on fire with Oakland hitting its first six shots and Youngstown State making 5 of 8. Things cooled a bit, and Oakland led 49-42 at the break as the Grizzlies had three in double figures before intermission.

Oakland started hot at the start of the second half as well, going on an 11-2 run — including Felder's 3-pointer — and led 60-44 with 15:46 left.

Bobby Hain paced Youngstown State (10-15, 1-9) with 26 points and Osandai Vaughn added 16 points and eight boards.
