SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say a man was critically Saturday when he was hit by a car while crossing the street against a red light in Kearns.
Lt. Justin Hoyal says the 16-year-old driver couldn't avoid hitting the 62-year-old man after the driver in front of her swerved around him in the suburb of Salt Lake City.
KSL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1z0LohH ) the driver wasn't hurt in the 8:30 p.m. accident. The man's name was not immediately released.
