LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say Interstate 15 in Las Vegas was briefly closed following a report of a possibly suicidal person on an overpass Sunday.
Authorities say the interstate was closed near Tropicana Avenue about 8 a.m.
The Nevada Highway Patrol and Las Vegas police negotiators responded to the scene.
KVVU-TV reports the person was taken into custody and the highway was re-opened about 9 a.m.
The person's name was not immediately released.
