MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — Six Vermont colleges are collaborating on what's being billed as a "movable feast" of learning about food systems in June.
The 21-day Vermont Food Systems Study Tour begins at the University of Vermont with three days on building urban food systems. Intensive multi-day seminars follow at Sterling College, Vermont Tech, Vermont Law School, Green Mountain College and UVM again before wrapping up at Middlebury College.
Topics range from artisan cheese and revitalizing the rural economy to food system advocacy and global food systems.
Organizers say they expect students from around the country to participate in the tour.
