BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Evan Singletary matched his season-high with 21 points and seven assists to help Albany beat Maine 77-59 on Saturday for its ninth straight win.

Albany (14-7, 9-0 American East) has won 12 of its past 13 games and holds a two-game lead over Vermont (12-10, 7-2) for first place in the conference.

Singletary hit four 3-pointers and finished 8 of 16 from the floor. Wheeler Baker made five 3-pointers on his way to a career-best 21 points. Sam Rowley added 17 points on 7-of-19 shooting and matched a career-high with five assists for the Great Danes, who shot 55 percent from the field and 50 percent from long range.

Aaron Calixte scored 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting to lead four Maine players in double figures. The Black Bears (2-20, 1-8) have lost two straight since snapping their 13-game losing streak against Hartford on Jan. 25.
