KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — Kennesaw State University is hosting high school teams for a science bowl competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy.
KSU officials say 16 teams from throughout Georgia are expected at the competition on Saturday. Officials say KSU has hosted the sub-regional competition for nearly 20 years.
Organizers say the top three teams from Saturday's event will move on to regionals at Armstrong State University in Savannah.
Winners from that competition will advance to the national competition, which is being held between April 30 and May 4.
