SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say they suspect four teenagers set fire to a vacant two-story apartment building in South Salt Lake Monday afternoon.

South Salt Lake Police spokesman Gary Keller said one firefighter was treated on the scene for hand burns and another was transported to a local hospital for leg burns.

Keller says the building on a private Park Creek Lane near 3060 South is part of a three-building complex owned by the city and slated for eventual demolition.

Keller says firefighters were called to the fire at 3:45 p.m. Monday. Keller says neighbors heard yelling before the fire started and saw three teenage boys and one teenage girl ages 15 to 19 eave the scene.
