SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A 24-year-old man has died after being found with a gunshot wound in a Salt Lake City street.
Investigators say a handgun was found next to the man Saturday night in the Sugar House neighborhood, but they're unsure whether he died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot or not.
A motorist noticed the man lying in the street and called police when he saw the man had been shot.
The man was unconscious and not breathing, and died after being taken to the hospital.
Police found a blood trail from the man to about a block from where he was found.
The man's name was not immediately released.
