WALHALLA, S.C. (AP) — Oconee County sheriff's deputies have charged a Fair Play woman with fraudulent use of the credit card for a Parent-Teacher Organization at a school.

The Anderson Independent Mail reported ( http://bit.ly/15kgBVC ) that 41-year-old Misty Brook Cain Radel was charged Thursday with breach of trust.

Officials at Fair-Oak Elementary school notified the sheriff's office in November of suspected financial fraud at the school. Sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Watt says the allegation focused on the school PTO's credit card.

Watt said Radel was president of the PTO. She is accused of using nearly $5,400 of PTO funds for herself.

It was not clear if she has an attorney.
