LORETTO, Pa. (AP) — Brent Jones scored 20 points but missed his last runner, which Chris Hooper put back as he fell to the floor at the buzzer to give St. Francis (N.Y.) a 60-59 win over St. Francis (Pa.) in a Northeast Conference battle for first place on Sunday.

Greg Brown put the Red Flash (10-7, 4-2) in front with two free throws at seven seconds. The dramatic play kept the Terriers (11-8, 5-1) tied with Bryant atop the league standings.

The game was close throughout until St. Francis (N.Y.) surged to a 50-39 lead on a Jones 3-pointer. He was in the midst of scoring 13 straight points for the Terriers.

The Red Flash stormed back and Ollie Jackson's layup capped a 9-0 run for a 53-52 lead for 3:27 left.

The teams scored on four straight possessions, with a Brown jumper tying the game at 57 with 45 seconds left. Hooper made one of two free throws at 17 seconds.
