KOENIGSSEE, Germany (AP) — Switzerland's Beat Hefti and Alex Baumann claimed their second bobsled World Cup victory of the season on Saturday to take the overall lead in the standings.

The Olympic silver medalists were fastest in both runs, and beat Germany's Nico Walther and Marko Huebenbecker by 0.52 seconds for their second successive win.

Canada's Justin Kripps and Bryan Barnett were third, 1.03 back, followed by Germany's Albrecht Klammer and Eric Franke, and then Latvia's Oskars Melbardis and Daumants Dreiskens.

Hefti and Baumann have 842 points, ahead of previous leaders Melbardis and Dreiskens on 829.
