UNDATED (AP) — Several NFL teams have new coaches. The Jets name Arizona defensive coordinator Todd Bowles as head coach. Long time 49ers defensive line coach Jim Tomsula jumps a few spots to become head coach and the Raiders opt for Denver defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio. Three teams, Denver, Atlanta and Chicago, still have openings.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indianapolis Colts backup linebacker Josh McNary has been charged with rape, criminal confinement with bodily injury and battery. Indianapolis police say a 29-year-old woman accused a then unknown man of attacking her on December 1. Investigators say they determined the man was McNary through a cellphone the woman claims she took from the man's apartment. His attorney says the charges are one side's story and that McNary has faith in the system.

LONDON (AP) — NBA Commissioner Adam Silver says it is "inevitable" that one day players will be wearing sponsor names on their jerseys. Silver, in London for the regular season game between the New York Knicks and Milwaukee Bucks, says it's only a matter of time before the league displays the sponsor names to generate revenue, the same as in European sports.

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) — Major League Baseball owners honor Bud Selig in his final gathering as commissioner. About 250 people took part in a posh dinner held in a huge tent on the grounds of an Arizona resort as part of the owners' annual January meeting. The 80-year-old Selig ends his more than 22-year tenure when he is succeeded by Rob Manfred on Jan. 25.

CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy (AP) — Lindsey Vonn and her closest relatives sense this could be the weekend when she breaks Annemarie Moser-Proell's (MOH'-suhr PROHLZ) all-time World Cup wins record. Vonn's parents, step-parents and her younger sister Laura will all be on hand when the racing begins Friday with a downhill, Vonn's specialty. On a course where she has already won seven times, Vonn needs one victory to match Austrian great Moser-Proell's 62 wins set between 1970 and 1980.
