MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) — Marshun Newell scored 20 points, Deville Smith added 18 and the duo scored all of Tennessee-Martin's 11 points in overtime, lifting the Skyhawks past Morehead State 75-72 on Saturday night.

Newell opened overtime with a layup and Smith drilled a 3-pointer to grab the lead for good. A lay-in from Smith gave UT-Martin a 73-70 lead with 22 seconds left. After two free throws from Morehead State's Brent Arrington, Newell made a pair at the line, and Angelo Warner's 3-pointer was no good in the final seconds.

Arkeem Joseph had 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds for the Skyhawks (9-6, 1-1 Ohio Valley). Twymond Howard added 14 points and seven boards for UT-Martin, which shot 46.7 percent from the field.

Kareem Storey, who hit a layup late in regulation to force overtime, led the Eagles (6-12, 1-2) with 22 points while Arrington and Warner each chipped in 15.
