CHICAGO (AP) — Book lovers in the nation's third largest city will have fewer hours to pick up good reads at Chicago Public Library branches this week.
All but one branch on Chicago's West Side will be open on Christmas Eve until 3 p.m. Every location is closed on Christmas Day. All branches will be open regular hours starting Friday.
Chicago's system has 80 locations, including the flagship Harold Washington Library Center which opened in 1991.
