ASHEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — James Sinclair scored 20 points and made 10 of 13 free throws, Mike Brown scored 12 points, including the go-ahead basket, and Western Carolina rallied to beat UNC Asheville 66-62 on Sunday.

The Catamounts (4-8) trailed 34-28 at halftime, but gained ground on a 13-2 second-half run, and then led 61-60 on a 3-pointer by Brown with 2:25 to play. Sinclair hit four free throws and the Catamounts outscored the Bulldogs 5-2 in the final minute to ice the win.

Torrion Brummit scored 11 and hit 7 of 8 free throws for the Catamounts, Rhett Harrelson added 10 points, and Western Carolina converted 23 UNC Asheville fouls into 22 of 28 free throws.

Andrew Rowsey led UNC Asheville (4-7) with 17 points and four assists, Jaleel Roberts scored 12, and David Robertson 11, including three 3-pointers.
