LOGAN, Utah (AP) — George Marshall scored 18 points and South Dakota State rallied for a 53-46 win over Cal State Bakersfield in the World Vision Classic Friday night.

Kevin Mays converted two free throws to give the Roadrunners (1-10) a 46-41 lead with 6:26 left in the game, but Marshall erased the deficit with a 3-pointer and a jumper to tie the score with 5:03 remaining.

Cody Larson and Deondre Parks both had layups down the stretch and Jake Bittle converted 3 of 4 from the line to seal the win.

Zach Horstman scored 12 points for South Dakota State (8-3), which shot 10 of 28 from distance pick up its sixth straight win.

Aly Ahmed tossed in 15 points and grabbed seven boards to lead the Roadrunners, who lost their fifth straight.
