I'm normally a morning reporter but lately have been producing for Grant and Amanda while we look for a new morning producer. I do the midday newscasts at 10 and 11 AM, during Doug Wright's show, and have a great time talking to him, his producer Shawn, and the movie show guys. If you know anything about the Movie Show, you know the guys are always hinting (ok, outright begging) for anyone to bring them food. Well, one Friday cookies were brought in. We all dove in. Michael took a big bite and as his jaws were dropping down on the goodness, we were told they were bannana-chocolate chip cookies. You should have seen his face, and his reaction. Doug does it best. Michael immediatley stuck his head into the garbage can, spit out the cookie, then ran down the hall. We were speechless, then busted out laughing. I could barely do the 10 AM newscast. Last Friday I brought in cookies and when I said they were baked "close to bananas" (on the same countertop) that same wild look came into his eye. Apparently he's allergic or something.
