SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Former First Lady Laura Bush and her daughter are scheduled to be keynote speakers at a major genealogy conference next year in Salt Lake City.
Laura Bush and Jenna Bush Hager will speak Feb. 13 during the Roots Tech conference. It is the largest family history conference in the U.S., now in its fifth year.
The three-day conference is hosted by Family Search, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' nonprofit organization dedicated to the research of family history.
Family Search said in a news release this week that Laura Bush and her daughter will talk about their eight years in the White House and how their emphasis on family during that time played a key role.
The conference helps people use technology to find, organize, preserve and share family history.
