NEW YORK (AP) — Kahron Ross scored a career-high 19 points, Justin Goldsborough scored 13 and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Lehigh beat winless LIU-Brooklyn 80-76 on Saturday for its fourth straight victory.

Austin Price scored 11 for Lehigh (4-4) and Corey Schaefer and Miles Simelton added 10 apiece, a career-high for Simelton.

Gerrell Martin led LIU-Brooklyn (0-6) with 20 points, Martin Hermannsson added 19, Landon Atterberry 16, and Elvar Fridriksson 13.

LIU-Brooklyn used a 14-3 run capped by two free throws by Hermannsson to lead 17-7, but Lehigh went on a 10-0 run, in which Ross scored four points, to lead 34-31 at halftime.

Lehigh led 39-34 in the second half after a 3-pointer by Ross, but the Blackbirds stayed close until Schaefer hit a jumper at 10:45, sparking a 9-0 run for a 58-46 Lehigh lead. The Mountain Hawks hit 10 free throws in the final 1:34 to seal the win.
