The inspirational work of popular sculptor Gary Lee Price is on display at Thanksgiving Point Gardens where its ability to lift the human spirit will multiply in the beautiful surroundings.
The Grand Allee - This is the main entrance to the garden. It features a carefully manicured lawn on a sloping hill, lined with flowering cherry and plum trees. The meandering path lined with colorful wildflowers and spectacular mountain views will take you down into the garden.
Creek Garden - At the bottom of the pathway, the sound of gurgling water will entice you into this sparkling collection of creeks and ponds surrounded by an impressive expanse of stately lawns.
Rose Garden - A classical round arbor provides enclosure for this display of sixty varieties of new and old roses. Here you can enjoy resting in the shade and gaze upon the Italian Garden on the hill.
Monet Garden - Claude Monet's painted masterpieces have inspired this delightful garden that features a 1.8-acre lake with boardwalk. A replica of Monet's bridge is a graceful gateway into this picture perfect setting.
Vista Garden - Follow the cobblestone path that spirals up to this lofty lookout complete with a neo-classical folly of ruined columns. From here you can enjoy sweeping 360-degree views of Thanksgiving Garden.
Fragrance Garden - The centerpiece of Fragrance Garden is a garden temple that would fit nicely into any English park. It is surrounded by dozens of plants and flowers chosen to stimulate the sense of smell.
Secret Garden - Inspired by the classic children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, this walled garden rekindles childhood memories amid a jungle of vines, crumbling arcades and overgrown ruins.
Italian Garden - This classic Mediterranean water garden is reminiscent of a sixteenth century Italian villa. Cascading basins flanked by carved yew hedges and benches placed throughout invite you to savor the renaissance romance of this elegant retreat.
Butterfly Garden - This whimsical garden has a path in the form of a butterfly's wings, and inherent characteristics that attract butterflies. The meadow to the south is also filled with plants that provide food and shelter for these lovely creatures.
Parterre Garden - Parterre is French for "on the ground". That's where you'll need to look to find the lacy patterns of this definitive style. But don't miss the delightful carousel with the topiary horses.
