HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — Friends of the Hillsboro Public Library have donated a 3-D printer for public use.
KOIN reports (http://bit.ly/1HfbrcC) librarian Brendan Lax introduced the technology Monday at an open house. The $600 printer builds objects with plastic layers.
Lax created a small cat sculpture in 10 minutes and said it cost less than a dime.
