Inmate, 45, dies in southern Nevada prison

INDIAN SPRINGS, Nev. (AP) — Authorities say a 45-year-old inmate who was serving time for a robbery conviction has died in a southern Nevada prison.

Officials with the Nevada Department of Corrections say Tracy Warren died Sunday at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs. An autopsy was scheduled to determine his cause of death.

Warren had been in the prison system since February 2003. He was convicted in Clark County of attempted robbery, burglary and being a habitual criminal.

He was serving a sentence of up to life in prison.
