Utah State rallies to top Weber State 72-61

LOGAN, Utah (AP) - David Collette scored 22 points and Jalen Moore added 20 to push Utah State past in-state rival Weber State 72-61 on Friday night.

Moore also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds for the Aggies while Collette shot 11-of-15 and had two blocks. Julion Pearre added 10 points.

Jeremy Senglin scored 14 for the Wildcats, while Richaud Gittens added 13 and Joel Bolomboy had 12.

Trailing by 18 points at the half, USU opened second half on an 8-0 run and extended to a 13-4 run, highlighted by three dunks by Collette. An Aggie zone defense bottled up the Wildcats, who began the half shooting 1-for-14 from the field.

WSU shot 58 percent from the field in the first half but shot only 17 percent in the second.

USU finally caught the visitors at 53 with 10:24. Remaining. The Aggies took their largest lead of the game, 72-57, with 1:54 left.
