BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) — A 20-year-old man was found dead in a UC Berkeley fraternity house but the cause of his death won't be known for weeks.
Berkeley police spokeswoman Jennifer Coats says Vaibhev Loomba was found unresponsive in the Zeta Psi fraternity house near the university on Sunday.
Loomba was a junior at UC Davis and police say he was not a member of the fraternity.
Coats says police are calling the death "suspicious" but there is no indication of foul play.
She says an autopsy was performed on the man Monday and toxicology tests were ordered to determine if he had drugs or alcohol or both in his system. Those tests won't be available for at least four weeks.
