ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Boise State fell behind by two touchdowns on two distinct occasions on the road at New Mexico’s University Stadium.

Both times, though, Grant Hedrick rallied his team, keeping the Broncos’ hopes of a Mountain West title alive.

Hedrick threw for 367 yards and four touchdowns and ran for two more scores as Boise State (7-2, 4-1 MWC) rallied by New Mexico (3-6, 1-4) in a wild 60-49 victory Saturday night.

Boise State took its first lead on Chaz Anderson’s 36-yard touchdown reception with seven minutes left in the fourth quarter to go up 52-49, and Jay Ajayi ran the ball into the end zone from 14 yards out in the final minute to help the Broncos escape with the win.

Ajayi finished with 161 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries, and Hedrick piled up 131 yards on the ground to pace Boise State.

Thomas Sperbeck caught nine passes for 164 yards for the Broncos.

Teriyon Gipson led New Mexico with 205 rushing yards and three touchdowns, and Jhurell Pressley added 154 yards and two scores on the ground.

Air Force 48, UNLV 21

At Las Vegas, Jacobi Owens piled up 135 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries in a return to his hometown as the Falcons blitzed the Rebels on Saturday night.

Kale Pearson completed 5-of-6 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown, and also added 67 yards and a score for Air Force (7-2, 3-5 MWC).

Devante Davis caught six passes for 114 yards and a touchdown to lead UNLV (2-8, 1-5).

San Diego State 35, Idaho 21

At San Diego, Quinn Kaehler threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Aztecs by the Vandals in a non-conference game Saturday night.

Ezell Ruffin caught two of Kaehler’s touchdowns en route to 86 receiving yards for San Diego State (5-4), and Donnel Pumphrey led the Aztecs’ ground game with 142 yards and a score.

Joshua McCain paced the Vandals (1-8) with 101 yards and a touchdown on seven catches.

Colorado State 49, Hawaii 22

At Fort Collins, Colorado, Garrett Grayson threw for an efficient 278 yards and four touchdowns to help the Rams surge past the Warriors on Saturday.

Dee Hart added 115 yards and a touchdown for Colorado State (9-1, 5-1 MWC), and Charles Lovett added 134 yards and a touchdown on four catches.

Ikaika Woolsey completed 16 of 47 passes for 192 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions, and added 41 yards on the ground to lead Hawaii (2-8, 1-4).

Fresno State 38, San Jose State 24

At Fresno, California, Brian Burrell threw for 207 yards and three touchdowns as the Bulldogs snapped a three-game losing streak with a win over the Spartans on Saturday night.

Marteze Waller added 146 yards and a score on the ground for Fresno State (4-6, 3-3 MWC).

Joe Gray threw for 350 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions for San Jose State (3-6, 2-3).

Utah State 20, Wyoming 3

At Laramie, Wyoming, JoJo Natson ran for 99 yards and a touchdown and also returned a punt 80 yards for a score to help the Aggies become bowl eligible for the fourth straight year for the first time in school history in Friday night’s win over the Pokes.

Kent Myers completed 13 of 16 passes for 150 yards for the Aggies (7-3, 4-1 MWC).

Brian Hill ran for 122 yards on 25 carries for Wyoming (4-6, 2-4).
