COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated left wing Matt Calvert off injured reserve and assigned center Sean Collins to their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Calvert had a goal and one assist in seven games this season before missing the last four games because of an upper-body injury. Columbus' fifth pick, 127th overall, in the 2008 NHL draft has 30 goals and 35 assists in 160 career NHL games.

Collins was recalled by Columbus on Oct. 30 and didn't score in two games. He has a goal and five assists in eight games with Springfield this season.
