HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — A Henderson teen has died after a skateboard crash in a concrete wash.

Police say 16-year-old Michael Vaughn was skateboarding late Sunday afternoon when he crashed and hit his head.

The Foothill High School student was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Clark County coroner's office determined his cause of death was blunt head trauma.

Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time.

In Utah, a 16-year-old boy died after he was struck by two cars while skateboarding on a street Saturday night in Ogden.
