SALT LAKE CITY — Each Sunday, millions of football fans sit down on the couch or up in the bleachers to watch their favorite NFL team.

Out of the 32 league members, which franchise is the most liked team in America?

For the last six seasons the Dallas Cowboys have been "America's Team." But that is not the case anymore.

In a new Harris Poll released Tuesday, the Cowboys have been knocked off their perch and the Denver Broncos have taken over as America's favorite football team.

The New York Giants were labeled as the second favorite, followed by the Green Bay Packers. The Cowboys fell all the way to fourth place, while Pittsburgh rounded out the top five.

As far as the least favorite team? That unfortunate claim is shared between two teams — the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tennessee Titans. The Jaguars have been at the bottom of the list for five years in a row, at least this year they aren't alone.

The Harris Poll surveyed 2,543 adults from September 10-17, 2014 to generate the results.
